STEM Tech-Shop at the United States Embassy
St. Joseph School Sliema students and teachers participated in a tech workshop aimed at promoting STEM studies and careers among girls in support of the U.S. Embassy’s initiative #BreaktheGlass.
U.S. Chargé d’ Affaires Mark A. Schapiro opened the event.
Throughout the morning, the students engaged in circuit building using Piper Computer Kits designed for students to experience computer science, electronics, and coding. They also experienced NASA’s Space Launch System in virtual reality.
Sincere thanks to Ms Monique Falzon, Cultural Affairs Assistant and Ms Marvic Calleja Sciberras, Assistant Head, for co-ordinating the visit.
