St Emilie Mass and Celebration

The traditional St Emilie Mass and Celebration took place on Wednesday 13th June, bringing all the senior and junior section community together in Our Lady’s yard.

Fr Charles Tabone celebrated mass, encouraging all students to live up to the example of our foundress, St Emilie De Vialar, by celebrating the eucharist and being there for others in need.

Prayers were offered in thanksgiving for the scholastic year, and special thanks to Ms Patricia Sillato on her retirement and Sr Blanche Gatt for her long service and love for the Sliema community.

Following mass, certificates were presented to students for values emulating St Emilie.

Sr Cecilia Schembri, Provincial, also presented certificates to new members of staff who followed induction courses on the charism of St Emilie and her life and works.

Following mass, staff and students enjoyed their ice-cream too!
