Senior 1 St Emilie Community Day
The Senior 1s enjoyed their ‘St Emilie Community Day’ on Tuesday 1st June. This was a special day organised by the teachers to treat the girls after a year in which we missed so many fun activities in school.
All the Senior 1s came to school in casual clothes and started off their morning watching the end-of-year drama performance by the Senior 2s, online. This was a super show produced by Ms Caroline and featured all our Senior 2s. Next, the girls moved down to the yard for sports and games organised by Ms Charlene and Ms Daniela, and the competition was tough indeed! After break they gathered in the auditorium for a form mass, celebrated by Fr Christopher Caruana and coordinated by Ms Abigail, with a special commemoration of St Emilie. After presentations of the St Emilie Awards and Appraisal Awards, the whole form moved down to Our Lady’s Yard for their picnic and ice-cream treat. Teachers and LSEs joined in the fun, and it was a perfect end to a happy day.
Covid restrictions and all, this was definitely a day to remember!
