Senior 5 Lenten Morning – The Encounter

On Monday 2nd March, the Senior 5 students attended Nazzarenu Church, Sliema to participate in mass, followed by a discussion with Mr Noel Camilleri and later with two teachers, Ms. Mariella Catania and Mr David Deguara.

Mr Noel Camilleri spoke to the girls about his conversion to Christianity after a long period of time being a non-believer. Mr Camilleri proceeded to share his experiences with demonic entities, describing what he’s seen in people who suffered from possession and also how he guided them to protect themselves from evil.

Lastly Ms Mariella Catania and Mr David Deguara shed light on how social media may be associated with the seven deadly sins and how these could be avoided. They followed by allowing the girls to participate in an activity (in groups) where they discussed sacrifices and positive activities,  particularly during lent.

The Senior 5s felt this was a very positive morning which helped them very much.
