Go4Research Student Internship Programme

Following their participation in the Malta Junior Science Olympiad, Marija, Rachel and Elena were invited for an information meeting related to the Go4Research Student Internship Student Programme.  The meeting was held in the auditorium of the Faculty of ICT at the University of Malta.

The Go4Research Student Internship Programme provides students the opportunity to work within different STEM research projects with researchers from the Faculty of Science and Industry, during the summer months. 

 

During the meeting, different research projects were presented. Amongst these projects students were introduced to Plant Ecology and Taxonomy by Dr Sandro Lanfranco, Quantum Physics by Professor Andre Xuereb, Electromagnetism by Dr Imam Farhat and Crystal Engineering by Professor Emmanuel Sinagra.

 

Students were allowed to take notes about their preferred research areas and put forward their queries.  Following this info-meeting, students interested to apply for the internship are requested to compile and submit the relevant internship application form.
