EkoSkola Seed Planting Initiative
On Monday 27th February, students in the EkoSkola committee guided by EkoSkola teachers, spent their break time planting seeds.
The seeds planted included seeds of the cypress tree, pine trees, rue trees and capers. The seeds have been planted in milk cartons and they will be watered regularly by students. Upon germination the saplings will be re-planted into larger pots, in the school garden or in other locations suggested by the organizers.
The EkoSkola committee would like to thank Mr Adrian Gatt of Grow 10 Trees project for providing us with the seeds and all parents and guardians who provided us with clean, empty milk cartons.
