The Crowning of Our Lady

On Wednesday 19th May we celebrated the Crowning of Our Lady, a traditional prayer gathering that goes back for generations.  With pandemic protocols in place, this year the honours fell to the Senior 4s.  Our May Queen, Nina Busuttil, and Crown Bearer, Keira Chetcuti, were ably assisted by Michaela Camilleri, Lara Pace, Emma Said and Carolina Sciberras.

The Sisters, staff members, Senior 3 and Senior 4 students gathered in the yard, whilst the Senior 1s and Senior 2s followed online in their classrooms.  Each decade of the rosary was led by a form representative and member of staff.

Flowering plants were offered in homage to Our Lady and a collection was presented by Emilie Magri Sciberras, on behalf of all our girls,  to Sr Riches Grech, to be passed on to Dar Sagra Familja in Zabbar.
