The Ekoskola Outreach Committee

The EkoSkola Outreach Committee is a branch of our EkoSkola School Committee. There are another two sub committees within EkoSkola, one works on general activities, while the third sub committee worked on an  audit exercise.

The Outreach Committee has a special focus in preparing and presenting outreach activities within the school and beyond, with a special focus on the #litterless campaign. The first and second terms served to consolidate the members within the team, the aims and brainstorming for activities. They also held meetings with the Head of School and also with the EkoSkola Committee of the Junior School. Like the other 2 committees within EkoSkola, meetings were held weekly and even twice weekly during the Second Term as the members were busy preparing entries for the Young Reporters for the Environment project.

Although meeting at school is not longer possible and entries for the YRE project needed to be adapted and even updated because of the current situation, the Outreach Committee has started to hold on line meetings to continue working and preparing their work for this project.
