Young Reporters for the Environment – Results

The Young Reporters for the Environment results are out and we are very proud to announce that all participating students in our school did very well.  Articles written by Christine Casha, Amy Cassar, Maegan Friggieri, Alexandra Vassallo and Katya Vassallo were commended.  The article written by Emma Manicaro on Food Waste during COVID-19 won the HSBC Award for the national Best YRE stay at home article.  This article will now compete on an international basis.  All articles stressed that in order to lead a more sustainable lifestyle, it is necessary to endorse a mindset that minimises waste production.

While congratulating the students on their achievement, we would like to express our gratitude to Nature Trust FEE (Malta), all EkoSkola co-ordinators and the educators at St. Joseph School Sliema for their constant guidance and support.  We would also like to thank all students for their commitment and hard work throughout the scholastic year.
