Stargate Studios Visit

On Friday 10th January 2020, the Senior 4 students studying Voc IT had the opportunity to visit Stargate Studios at the Mosta TechnoPark.

This visit complemented our syllabus very well, considering that we are studying video editing and videography this year.

The visit started with a tour of the studios by one of the staff members, Mr Luke Zammit, who afterwards gave us a presentation about the process of editing for shows and movies that we see on the screen.

After the tour and presentation, we were divided into two groups and had time to work on our own storyboards. This was followed by the filming of a short sketch which we could later edit in class.

This was a truly interesting outing and I would like to thank our teacher Mr Franco Camilleri and all the staff at Stargate Studios, especially Mr Matthew Pullicino, for this great opportunity.
