As part of our Book Week celebrations held last week, students and teachers took a short break from lessons and enjoyed a reading session out in the sun instead. This activity promoted the idea that reading should not be limited to the classroom or library, but can take place anywhere.
Some teachers visited the school library during break time and read out to the students a chapter from their favourite book. Students were encouraged to borrow the book from the school library to continue reading the story.
A big well done goes to our young writers who shared their writing during the Young Writer’s Club held during break. Poetry, essays and short stories written by the students, both in Maltese and English, were read out to the group.
