French Competitions
The Association des Professeurs de Français de Malte launched two competitions for this scholastic year.
1) Un Menu à la française (for Year 7 and Year 8)
2) Bien manger….à la française! (for Year 9 and Year 10)
The aim of both competitions is to encourage students to learn more about French cuisine.
A number of Senior 2 girls created menus for the competition: Felicity Xuereb Debattista, Anastasia Muscat, Hanni Li Tian Tian, Amy Cassar, Katya Vassallo & Emma Borg.
In Senior 3, Kristina Sammut created a video of a “Chocolat Chaud’’; Skyler Cilia “Tarte aux pommes; Elisa Piccinino & Ariana Makita McCarthy prepared “Paid perdu”.
In Senior 4, Kimberley Borg created a video for a “Croque Monsieur’’ and Sarah Sultana for her ‘’Crème Brulée”
We are pleased to announce that Anastasia Muscat has won 2nd prize for the competition “Un Menu a la française”. Prizes and certificates were distributed during the General Assembly on Friday 24th January 2020 at the French Resource Centre in Msida.
