Today the Form 3 Home Economics students baked cupcakes using the creaming method. Their skills were assessed during this practical session. Furthermore, I also assessed them on the washing up and on time management.
Some students opted to leave their cupcakes plain whilst others decorated them with fruit. Students also had the option of removing 25g of self-raising flour and replacing it with cocoa powder.
All students managed to finish on time and enjoyed having their cup of tea while tasting each other’s cupcakes.
